A CEO of a company was going through bad days, he was not able to meet expenses, got dejected and wanted to give up.
As he was contemplating about life sitting in a park an old man watching him asked
"Hey young man you look troubled?"
The businessman replied "I have lost everything, my business is in trouble, I just want to quit."
The old man took out a blank cheque in favor of the businessman and asked "Would this be ok for you to start again. Fill up whatever you want."
The businessman thanked the old man and asked
"But why are you helping me. I don't even know you!!!"
The old man replied
"I had struggled all my life to become a rich businessman and now I have retired and want to help as many people as I can"
The businessman left with a new vigour thanking him again and promising to pay back the person soon.
He kept the cheque in his safe not to be used until emergency , and started again with the same zeal and vigour, having the comfort zone that if he fails there is the cheque to be cashed.
Soon he regained his business and didn't need to use the money, so he thought of returning the cheque to the old man.
He waited for him at the same park asking people have they seen an old rich man.
One passer by replied ..
"That old man who distributes cheques ?"
The businessman replied
"Yes"
The passer by replied
"O we are also searching for him. He is from the mental hospital and he inadvertantly escapes and starts distributing cheques to people, if you get hold of him intimate us."
1 We all have people in our life who motivate us , encourage us , show us ways when we are into dark moments .. they are like these old man's cheque, though we can bank upon them .. but cannot encash them.. these are our real assets whom we neglect.. remember the last time we felt like giving up and maybe a child , a stranger , a message etc motivated you to start all over again ..
2 Such people who distribute blank cheques of motivation are usually called 🤣🤣 from mental asylum ...
But that's part and parcel of life ...
