Happy Friendship Day

this morning made me smile... not because today is friendship day .. but because a thought came to me... how programmed we all have become... there is a hoard of wishing so called "happy friendship day" as if we do not wish today the world is going to fall apart... whatsapp .. fb full of messages without even bothering to whom we are sending... same way we get programmed on mothers day .. fathers day ... new year ... sisters day etc etc.. we have been programmed emotionlessly in a robotic way... A question comes to my mind "why not wish friendship day everyday" ..... quite amusing ... so anyways i take up this opportunity to thank all my friends who have been a part of my journey ... we have fought .. we have made up... we have laughed ...we have cried... we have shared secrets .. we have kept secrets.. we have been jealous .. we have helped each other... we have been angry ... we have hugged each other... if i am what i am today it is all because of friends who have helped me ... some have carried along ... some have lost touch .... but to all my friends :A BIG THANK YOU FOR COMING IN MY LIFE...."

our day today

we spend our day ... cribbing about weather .. it is too hot ... it is too sultry ... it is very cold... we crib about neighbors... about society ,,, about servants ... about boss ... about traffic... about friends what they did to us .. etc etc etc... but when we look back to our olden days we only remember 2 things ... the opportunities we lost and the golden days we had... so why spend our day in activities which are neither fruitful nor remembered... why not make our today golden and why not we be open minded for opportunities to make our future bright... think about it...!!!

Pseudo Nationalism

hypocrites.... meaning of hypocrites may be i cannot explain.... but some incidences provoke me to say so... and mind it i am being ABSOLUTELY BLUNT about it....

there are countries where the national flag can be displayed as undergarments ... t shirts ... etc to that extent bikini's as well ( without naming) ... but when talked about citizenship they are proud of there country ......

and there are countries who want there flag as national issue ... but that's the end ... these so called people will not think once throwing garbage on highways ... pissing in public ... spitting in public ... these are small issues ... even bigger issues like corruption etc etc doesn't bother them ... but yes if somebody does anything to the flag ... maybe unintentionally ( maybe who knows and nobody went to find out) that is a big issue ... viral issue... you never know that so called people would be the happiest people on earth when they get the news that there son/daughter got US Visa and citizenship ... green card etc etc ...!!!

is Flag the only national issue or the country a national issue... i dont know ....

psuedo nationalism is all i can say ....

Change...!!!

We hear since childhood change ourselves otherwise we will not be successful, happy etc etc.. I believe we should not change ourselves... everyone is unique in his/her own sense... it is like a garden of roses where each rose with its unique color adds to beauty... why should yellow rose become red and vice versa... but yes we should become better and beautiful yellow rose or red rose...

So we should not change ourselves... we should become better ourselves... think about it...!!!

lesson of politics

A son asked his father " what's politics and how can we do clean politics "...
Father replied " you will know shortly.. but first do as i tell you "
Son replied " Ok what i need to do "
Father " Son you are a very good artist .. do one thing put your best painting on display at the market corner and put a placard .. please write what you think is wrong... "
The son did the same and was dejected and depressed when he saw in the evening that his painting was smudges all over with so many defects that the real painting was demolished...
The depressed son shared it with his father who just smiled and said now put your another best painting and put a placard " Please correct all the wrong things in this picture "
The son did the same and was surprised to see that no one had posted anything and the pic was as clean as it was.
The excited son shared this with his father. The father smiled again and said " Now do one more thing. You have that board where you rub your brush for cleaning."
Son said "Yes that is messed up."
Father said " Now son do one thing display this on the market place and put a placard that anyone who can tell the right meaning of this painting stands a chance of wining bumper prizes worth ten thousand rupee and entry fee ten rupee.
The son did the same and was surprised to see overwhelming response.
The excited son shared it with his father that not only they have collected twenty thousand rupees but they have received excellent reviews about the painting.
The father smiled again and said " Son now you understand politics. There are two ways of politics. One way is the last one ... confuse and reward the public.. they will not only appreciate you but pay  you as well.
Second way is to actually do good for the public. If you want to do that then don't ask for public opinion. Public is anyway dumb and doesn't know what is good for them. That is why they are called public.".... think about it ... !!!

First Impression is the last impression...!!!

First Impression is the last impression... is it really..... we have been fed with this theory since ages and we pass this on to generations without realizing the stress associated with it. We focus so much on creating first impression that we go up the extent of faking our personality. And that has been proven time and again that we recruit people and then find out that he / she is not upto the mark.. and at the same time we recruit people just for the heck of it and they prove to be gems...!!!

This is not true just for recruitment's but anything in life be it relations , opportunities , friends etc.

I would reiterate opportunities because generally opportunities don't come in good packaging...!!!

Now here i am not telling that we shouldn't make an impression.. but if we concentrate on being who we are and getting better and better on who we are... we will never be stressed on making an impression.. and our every impression will be the last impression...!!!

And for people who reject things on first impression the best thing would be not to be constipated with this theory... otherwise you will miss diamonds ... because raw diamonds don't come in good packaging...!!!

There is this beautiful story about a writer who had a female fan.. this female fan used to write him letters and slowly they became very good friends. They had the same likings and matched very well. Only catch that the writer hadn't seen her so he requested for a pic.

The fan replied that she will personally love to meet her once the timing is right. And one day she agreed for a date at a particular restaurant.

The writer asked how will he recognize her. She said that she would be carrying a yellow rose along with her.

On the appointed evening the writer went to the place to find a fat ugly looking lady sitting with a yellow rose.

Now the writer had 2 choices

1) To cancel the date
2) To carry on the date and know more about her.

He decided the second option. He went to the lady and introduced himself.

The lady replied " Sir i am not the one you are looking for. I was told by the lady sitting over there to sit with a yellow rose". and she pointed to a very beautiful girl sitting across the other side.

The writer couldn't believe his luck and once they were introduced he asked her " My lady what would you have done if i had just walked away".

She replied " Then it would be clear that you like me for my beauty and not for who i am. I would never have contacted you again."

Think about it how many opportunities / friends / life partners / jobs / employees / customers etc etc we miss because of this age old misconception that "first impression is the last impression".... !!!

Big Things Start Small

We hear everywhere without naming that if so and so becomes CM India would be governed well. In short there are 3 candidates whom we are looking forward to change the face of India.... very amusing...

120 crore people and only 1 person... 

bahut be-insaaifi hey ... 

Is it that one person is going to roam around street to street and improve the conditions?

Is it that the other 776 MP (Rajya and LOK sabha) elected members / around 4000 MLA and around 8000 IAS officers are going to change with one man?

How foolish we are that we think that we are a democratic country but need a king to rule us.

Democracy is government of the people , for the people and by the people.

please note "BY" the people.

I am not pro Kejriwal... but surprisingly we are sitting as bystanders and commenting on the intentions of Arvind Kejriwal / trying to authenticate Modi's viability etc etc..

eventually they are not the people who are going to rule India... we are ... and our constitution gives us the right to do that...

I always had the mental block that election cannot be won without strong financial backing... but Arwind proved it wrong... for me that was enough...

tomorrow there can be no Arwind  no Modi and no Rahul Gandhi... but India was there is there and will be there... and so are their citizens ... so as citizens we need to improve ourselves... we need to bring about the change ... we need to repay back the nation...

and the moment we say something needs to be done we get paralyzed with the thought that it is not possible.. how can we bring about a change... it is a very big task and who has the time...

Change is not a volcano which has to erupt .. it is an attitude .. which starts small.. and we need to start small to have a big change...

Big things start small.... 

let us all pledge to do something even if it be small towards improving the nation and as well as humanity..

small small things like right to vote ... right to ask... right to information... right to question... 

and this thing starts with attitudinal change.. before pointing at the officers / ministers we should first look inside us and ask "ARE WE CORRUPT"... if the answer is yes ... the change starts within.... 

think about it ..... !!!!
